Cleansing:

Lapis Lazuli can be purified by running it under water for a few minutes. Never soak lapis lazuli in salt water, which would alter its color. To preserve the jewelry’s setting, we recommend fumigation with a palo santo stick or white sage. Burn the palo santo or sage and pass your jewelry over the smoke produced. Remember to ventilate the room well after fumigation.

Recharging:

Lapis Lazuli prefers to recharge in moonlight. It can be placed for a few hours in a sun-drenched room. Avoid direct sun exposure, which would alter the stone’s color.

It can also be placed in a quartz geode, on a quartz cluster, or an amethyst druse.
