The most famous aquamarine deposits are found today in Brazil, but it is also found in Madagascar, Colombia, Mozambique, and Zambia. Brazilian miners have long been the main producers of this stone, and their mines are still among the richest in high-quality aquamarine today.

However, to preserve the jewelry, we recommend purifying it by smudging with a palo santo stick or white sage. Burn the palo santo or sage and pass your jewelry through the resulting smoke. Don’t forget to ventilate the room well after smudging.

Recharging:

Aquamarine can be recharged in sunlight by placing it for a few hours in a room bathed in light. Warning! It is best to avoid direct and prolonged exposure to sunlight.

Aquamarine can also be placed in a quartz geode or on a quartz cluster (druse). It can also be recharged on a selenite plate.
