Purification and recharging:

Cleansing:

Selenite should never be purified under water, as it risks dissolving. You can purify it by placing it in the sun or by fumigation with a palo santo stick or with white sage. Burn the palo santo or sage and pass the stone through the smoke. Remember to ventilate the room well after fumigation.

Recharging:

Selenite can be placed in a quartz geode, on a quartz cluster, or an amethyst druse.

Recharging and purification can be done simultaneously by placing selenite in the sun on a quartz cluster or in a geode.
