Purification and recharging:

Cleansing:

Selenite should never be cleansed under water, as it may dissolve. You can cleanse it by placing it in the sun or by fumigation with a palo santo stick or with white sage. Burn the palo santo or sage and pass the stone over the smoke released. Don’t forget to air out the room well after fumigation.

Recharging:

Selenite can be placed in a quartz geode, on a quartz cluster or an amethyst druse.

Recharging and cleansing can be done at the same time by placing the selenite in the sun on a quartz cluster or in a geode.
