Purification and recharging:

Purification:

Opal can be purified by fumigation with a palo santo stick or with white sage. Burn the palo santo or sage and pass the stone over the smoke produced. Remember to ventilate the room well after fumigation.

Recharging:

Opal can be recharged by placing it in a quartz geode, on a quartz cluster, or an amethyst druse. To prevent the geode or druse from scratching the opal, it is best to place it on a small square of soft cloth. It can also be placed on a flower of life plate.
