Cleansing:

Lapis Lazuli can be purified by placing it under running water for a few minutes. Never soak lapis lazuli in salt water, as it will alter its color. To preserve the jewelry setting, we recommend fumigation with a palo santo stick or white sage. Burn the palo santo or sage and pass your jewelry through the smoke. Don’t forget to ventilate the room well after fumigating.

Recharging:

Lapis lazuli recharges preferably in moonlight. It can be placed for a few hours in a sunlit room. Avoid any direct exposure to sunlight, which would alter the stone’s color.

It can also be placed in a quartz geode, on a quartz cluster, or an amethyst druse.
