Citrine is a solar stone. It radiates positive, creative energy and brings joy and good vibes.

It is traditionally known for attracting luck. It symbolizes prosperity and success. In feng shui, citrine should be placed in the far-left corner from your front door to attract wealth and abundance.

Citrine also promotes focus and helps fight fatigue.

Cleansing and recharging:

Purification:

Since citrine doesn’t absorb negative energy, it needs cleansing less often than other stones.

You can cleanse citrine by soaking it in water for a few minutes. You can also use smoke cleansing with a palo santo stick or white sage. Light the palo santo or sage and pass the crystal over the smoke. Don’t forget to air out the room well after smoke cleansing.

Recharging:

Citrine can be recharged by placing it in sunlight for a few hours. Avoid prolonged exposure to overly intense heat.

If the crystal is small, it can also be placed in a quartz geode, on a quartz cluster or an amethyst druse.
