Purification and recharging:

Cleansing:

Amethyst can be purified by soaking it in water for a few minutes.

To preserve the jewelry setting, we recommend purification by fumigation with a palo santo stick or white sage. Burn the palo santo or sage and pass your jewelry through the smoke. Don’t forget to ventilate the room well after fumigating.

Recharging:

Amethyst can be recharged by placing it in moonlight for a few hours. It can also be placed in a quartz geode or on a quartz cluster (druse). Warning! It is not recommended to expose amethyst to the sun for prolonged periods. Amethyst is sensitive to strong light and intense heat which can alter the stone’s color.
