Lava stone can be purified by soaking it in salt water. To preserve the jewelry setting, we recommend smudging instead with a stick of palo santo or with white sage. Light the palo santo or sage and pass your jewelry over the smoke. Don’t forget to air out the room well after smudging.

Recharging:

Lava stone recharges by placing it in direct sunlight for a few hours.
