Cleansing:

Lapis Lazuli can be purified by holding it under running water for a few minutes. Never soak lapis lazuli in salt water, as it would alter its color. To preserve the jewelry setting, we recommend fumigation with a palo santo stick or white sage. Burn the palo santo or sage and pass your jewelry over the smoke released. Don’t forget to air out the room well after fumigation.

Recharging:

Lapis Lazuli is best recharged in moonlight. It can be placed for a few hours in a sunlit room. Avoid any direct exposure to sunlight, which would alter the stone’s color.

It can also be placed in a quartz geode, on a quartz cluster or an amethyst druse.
