Purification and recharging:

Cleansing:

Amber does not retain negative energies, so it does not need to be purified. However, if you wish, you can briefly run it under water or rub it with a damp cloth.

To preserve the jewelry setting, we recommend fumigation with a palo santo stick or white sage. Burn the palo santo or sage and pass your jewelry over the smoke produced. Remember to ventilate the room well after fumigation.

Recharging:

Amber can be recharged in sunlight by placing it for a few hours in a brightly lit room. It is best to avoid direct exposure to strong heat, which could damage the organic rock.

Amber can also be placed in a quartz geode or on a quartz cluster.
