Dragon blood jasper was discovered a few years ago. The main deposit is in South Africa. There are also a few deposits in the United States, Australia, and Mexico.

Dragon blood jasper is made up of epidote and piemontite, which gives it its purplish-red spots.

Purification and recharging:

Cleansing:

Dragon blood jasper can be cleansed by soaking it in water for a few minutes. To preserve the elastic, we recommend cleansing the bracelet by smudging with a palo santo stick or white sage. Light the palo santo or sage and pass the jasper through the smoke. Don’t forget to air out the room well after smudging.

Recharging:

Jasper can be recharged in sunlight. It can also be placed in a quartz geode or on a quartz cluster (druzy).
