Purification and recharging:

Cleansing:

Selenite must never be cleansed under water, as it may dissolve. You can cleanse it by placing it in the sun or by smudging with a palo santo stick or white sage. Burn the palo santo or sage and pass the stone through the smoke. Don’t forget to air out the room well after smudging.

Recharging:

Selenite can be placed in a quartz geode, on a quartz cluster or an amethyst druse.

Recharging and cleansing can be done at the same time by placing the selenite in the sun on a quartz cluster or in a geode.
