Cleansing:

Lapis lazuli can be cleansed by holding it under running water for a few minutes. Never soak lapis lazuli in salt water, as it would alter its color. To preserve the jewelry setting, we recommend fumigation with a palo santo stick or with white sage. Light the palo santo or sage and pass your jewelry over the smoke released. Don’t forget to air out the room well after fumigation.

Recharging:

Lapis lazuli recharges preferably in moonlight. It can be placed for a few hours in a sunlit room. Avoid any direct exposure to sunlight, which would alter the stone’s color.

It can also be placed in a quartz geode, on a quartz cluster, or an amethyst druse.
