Palo Santo, or sacred wood, has been used since time immemorial as a medicinal plant and in shamanic rituals. It was used to drive away negative energies and attract good luck. Healers also believed that sacred wood promoted spiritual communication.

With its pleasant scent, Palo Santo purifies living spaces and is used to ward off negative energies. It promotes relaxation and helps reduce stress.

Palo Santo isn’t harvested from the tree. Only dry branches that naturally fall from the trees are used to make Palo Santo sticks.

How to use:

With its pleasant scent, it helps cleanse the inside of homes and ward off negative energies.

Light a stick, then let it burn for one minute while blowing on the flame so the wood catches and smokes. Then shake the stick so the flame goes out, and walk around the space where you want to cleanse the energy. Finally, place the Palo Santo stick in a non-flammable container and let it finish burning. One stick can be used several times.

In lithotherapy, Palo Santo is used to cleanse minerals and jewelry made of natural stones. Simply pass the jewelry or stone over the smoke. It’s recommended to use Palo Santo or sage for any stones that are incompatible with water.
