Dragon’s Blood Jasper was discovered a few years ago. The main deposit is in South Africa. There are also some deposits in the United States, Australia, and Mexico.

Dragon’s Blood Jasper is composed of epidote and piemontite, which gives it its purplish-red spots.

Cleansing:

Dragon’s Blood Jasper can be purified by soaking it in water for a few minutes. It can also be purified by fumigation with a palo santo stick or white sage. Burn the palo santo or sage and pass the jasper through the smoke. Remember to ventilate the room well after fumigation.

Recharging:

Jasper can be recharged in sunlight. It can also be placed in a quartz geode or on a quartz cluster (druse).
