Purification and recharging:

Cleansing:

Amethyst can be cleansed by soaking it in water for a few minutes.

You can also cleanse it by smudging with a palo santo stick or white sage. Light the palo santo or sage and pass the cluster over the smoke. Don’t forget to air out the room well after smudging.

Recharging:

Amethyst can be recharged by placing it in moonlight for a few hours. Avoid recharging it in the sun.
