Cleansing:

Lapis Lazuli can be purified by running it under water for a few minutes. Never soak Lapis Lazuli in salt water, as it would alter its color. To preserve the jewelry setting, we recommend fumigation with a palo santo stick or with white sage. Burn the palo santo or sage and pass your jewelry through the smoke. Remember to ventilate the room well after fumigation.

Recharging:

Lapis lazuli recharges preferably in moonlight. It can be placed for a few hours in a sunlit room. Avoid any direct exposure to sunlight, which would alter the stone’s color.

It can also be placed in a quartz geode, on a quartz cluster, or an amethyst druse.
