Purification and recharging:

Cleansing:

Amethyst can be purified by soaking it in water for a few minutes.

To preserve the jewelry setting, we recommend purification by smudging with a palo santo stick or white sage. Burn the palo santo or sage and pass your jewelry through the smoke. Don’t forget to air out the room well after smudging.

Recharging:

Amethyst can be recharged by placing it in moonlight for a few hours. It can also be placed in a quartz geode or on a quartz cluster (druse). Warning! Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight is not recommended. Amethyst is sensitive to strong light and intense heat, which can alter the stone’s color.
