Cleansing:

Turquoise can be purified by quickly rinsing it under water. No salt water. Wipe it thoroughly after rinsing. As turquoise is a fragile stone, we recommend fumigation with a palo santo stick or with white sage. Burn the palo santo or sage and pass your jewelry over the smoke produced. Remember to ventilate the room well after fumigation.

Recharging:

Turquoise can be recharged by moonlight or in a quartz geode, on a quartz cluster, or an amethyst druse. Avoid sunlight, which could alter the stone’s color.
