Cleansing:

Lapis Lazuli can be purified by placing it under running water for a few minutes. Never soak lapis lazuli in salt water as it will alter its color. To preserve the jewelry setting, we instead recommend fumigation with a palo santo stick or with white sage. Burn the palo santo or sage and pass your jewelry over the smoke. Don’t forget to air out the room well after fumigating.

Recharging:

Lapis lazuli recharges preferably in moonlight. It can be placed for a few hours in a sunlit room. Avoid any direct exposure to sunlight, which would alter the stone’s color.
